SynthModule — Privacy Policy

Purchase verification (anti-fraud)

SynthModule verifies your in-app purchases through Google Play servers. To prevent fraud, it transmits an encrypted device identifier and the in-app purchase information. This data stays protected, is not shared with third parties, and device identifiers cannot be connected to specific individuals.

Sound downloads

When you download optional soundfonts inside the application, files are delivered via Cloudflare R2 (a CDN). No personal information is sent — only the name of the requested file. Downloaded files are stored locally on your device.

Permissions used

• Internet — verify Pro purchase with Google Play and download optional soundfonts.
• Bluetooth — connect Bluetooth MIDI controllers.
• Coarse location — required by Android before version 12 in order to scan Bluetooth devices. We do not use GPS or collect location.
• Storage (read/audio) — import your own soundfonts and samples.
• Storage (write) — export preset backups.
• Foreground service + wake lock — keep audio playing with the screen off.
• Notifications — display the audio service notification (Android 13+).
• Audio settings — adjust low-latency parameters.

Cookies

The application does not use cookies. This policy page also does not use tracking cookies.
